KOREA: Steaming Ginseng Boosts Potency

tip of the day
For minor muscle and joint aches, fill a tube sock with uncooked rice, knot the top, then microwave on high for three minutes. This creates a pad that will mold easily around any painful joint and hold its heat for about an hour without the risk of burns.

daily news update
According to new research from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, pollutants that are less than one-fifth the width of a strand of hair can deal death blows to residents of big cities and obscure views for thousands of miles. The study adds fuel to the controversial argument that even small amounts of fine particulate pollution, while invisible to the naked eye, pose serious health risks. The study looked at the national effects of air pollution and found that as levels of particulates less than 2.5 micrograms increased in the air, so did the death toll.
